A Toast to our Seniors

Seniors and their parents gather for the annual Baccalaureate Mass, Senior Dinner and Awards Presentation.
On the evening of May 31, seniors, their parents, faculty and staff gathered to honor and pay tribute to the Class of 2012 at the annual Baccalaureate Mass & Senior Dinner. The evening began with a Mass honoring the seniors and praising them for completing their course of study at Montrose. The group then enjoyed dinner, a program of toasts and tributes and the presentation of Senior Awards.

During the Senior Dinner program, homeroom teachers Mrs. Kasia Weyman and Ms. Heather Osborne gave a fitting tribute to the Class of 2012. Head of School Dr. Karen Bohlin acknowledged the commitment and outstanding service of senior parents, who have given so much of themselves to Montrose over the years. Director of Alumnae Relations, Mrs. Lauren (Noble) Marshall ’99 welcomed seniors to the Montrose Alumnae Association and presented them with a special gift – Montrose red, polka dot pajama pants!

In keeping with the Senior Dinner tradition, our seniors also received a Montrose charm bracelet on behalf of the Mothers of Montrose School (MOMS), and they gave hand written notes of gratitude to their parents.

Dean Katherine Ginnetty and Head of School Karen Bohlin presented certain seniors with special awards for their outstanding academic achievements and service to their school.
