    Montrose is located in the heart of downtown Medfield, 17 miles from Boston
  • Daily Schedule

    School hours are from 8:00 AM - 3:15 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. 

    On Wednesdays, all students have a late start
    at 9:00 AM.

    The building opens at 7:00 AM every day, including Wednesdays. Teachers are available to meet for extra help from 7:30-8:00 AM on a rotating schedule.

    Montrose offers 18 AP classes: Biology, Physics I, Physics II, Chemistry, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Comparative Politics, Computer Science A, Computer Science Principles, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, European History, U.S. History, U.S. Government and Politics, French Language and Culture, Spanish Language and Culture, Statistics, Studio Art - 2D Design.

In addition, Montrose offers club team opportunities like Ski Club, Tennis Club, Self-Defense and Golf Club.

  • Facilities

    The current campus includes 26 classrooms across multiple buildings, multiple science and innovation labs, 2 art rooms, playing field and practice field, fitness center, and 10,000 square foot Arts & Athletics Center with professional performance space and basketball court.

    In spring-summer 2025, Montrose will renovate the campus to add 2 regulation turf fields, create a new outdoor classroom and pedestrian walkway connecting the Pond, and add a new student entry to the main classroom building.
  • Transportation

    Montrose offers bus routes each year based on student interest.

    In 2024-2025, 3 bus routes are available to Montrose students. One line includes a new stop at Riverside Station in Newton. See the Transportation page for more details.
