Why does reading matter? Head of School Dr. Karen Bohlin will speak on how good reading builds intellectual virtue and awakens the moral imagination.
Dr. Bohlin, the keynote speaker, will be joined by panelists Assistant Head of School & Academic Dean Katherine Ginnetty and Coordinator of Critical Reading, Writing & Research Barbara Whitlock. The panelists will present resources and research that indicate why reading substantive literature is important, and will discuss how they engage and encourage Montrose students to "read well."
